I specialize in nonprofit governance, fundraising strategy, strategic planning, management, and creating cultures of diversity, equity and inclusion. In all things that I do, I use a lens of equity, justice and inclusion — my consulting work is no exception. I only accept clients who are fully committed to making meaningful and measurable change. Whether we are working together on a strategic plan, recruiting diverse board members, or a feasibility study, I will only work with clients who agree to use equity as a lens.

Equity & Inclusion Jump Starts

For corporations and nonprofits, I offer “jump starts.” I facilitate group discussions for those looking to build a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, access, and belonging (DEIAB). Jump Starts guide organizations through difficult conversations. First we establish a safe place, then we delve into the history predominant theories of power imbalance and then will discuss areas in which your organization can address DEIAB. During our time together, we will create an action plan empowering and deputizing you and your team to create and execute a meaningful and time-bound plan.

Workshops, Trainings & Facilitations

Specializing in nonprofit governance, fundraising strategy, strategic planning, management, and creating cultures of diversity, equity and inclusion, I custom tailor workshops, training, and facilitations that suit your needs and achieve measurable outcomes. Whether meeting in-person or virtually, your team will receive highest quality instruction. In all of my sessions, I will use a method that I call CITE:

C- Contextualize the the challenge or problem
I- Instruct and inform using industry best practice and data
T- Train participants to deliver and engage
E- Equip participants with resources for further development

Staff & Board Member Recruiting

Finding good people is hard — and time consuming! Many organizations struggle in recruiting highly qualified and diverse candidate pools. Recruiting is both an art and a science and requires an expertise in knowing where to look as well as having a vast professional network. I work with teams to support both the preparation and planning process and execution of personnel searches.
